Toll 49 Segment 5 extends from FM 756 to SH 110 near Whitehouse, a distance of approximately 2.6 miles. This segment was designed by the NET RMA General Engineering Consultant, Atkins, and was let for construction by the TxDOT in December 2009. Longview Bridge and Road, Ltd. was awarded the project for the bid price of approximately $15.6 million.

Toll 49 Segment 5 opened to traffic in June 2012.
