Andy Vinson is Senior Vice President at Texas Bank in Henderson. Vinson has worked in the financial services sector for 36 years, after earning a BBA degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1975. Vinson is a 1985 graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

Active in the Henderson Area Chamber of Commerce he is a past member of the board of directors and President of the Chamber in 2007. He helped organize and is currently the Chairman of the Chamber’s Leadership Henderson committee. 

He received the Chamber’s John R. Alford Young Man of the Year Award in 1984. He is also a member of the board of directors of the ETMC Henderson Hospital Foundation.

A member of the Henderson Rotary Club since 1999 he served as the Centennial Club President in 2004. He also served three years as an Assistant Governor of Rotary District 5830. In 2008 he received the ‘Rotarian of the Year’ award.
Vinson and his wife Ruthie have six grown children. He attends First Baptist Church of Henderson, where he is an active member of the Choir.
